It was 105 degrees today, and I was stuck in pants!

No one writes in this thing anymore, and I haven't used AIM in about 2 years so...

I think that I'm going to stop writing in this all together. maybe this weekend, I'll read through all my entries with Holly for fun, just to see how I've changed.

Good bye to any of my readers.

We had a house party last night.  It was so much fun.  i liked that it was scaled down and that I knew most of the people over.  I especially liked that Holly hung out as long as she did.  I'm def. going swimming today.

Hello

I'm back from DC.  We had a fun and easy drive up and probably had too much fast food.  The zoo in DC was really neat, especially Tia Shawn the baby panda bear.  We also spent forever at Tyson's Corner and didn't even get anything.
On the way home last night, we stopped at Busch Gardens to see the fireworks and ride on the Griffon.  So worth it.
It was good to be home and to sleep in a bed last night.  I'm back at work now though, so I should probably get working.
And that's that.

Peace

TGI Thursday
Today feels like friday, because I got off work tomorrow to take holly to her Dr. appt. in Richmond.  We decided to make a whole road trip out of it with my brother john, and his fiance.  After the appointment we are going to head for DC and stay with my Grandparents.  After we entertain the old folks, we are both going to the city to explore.  Holly and I are specifically going to the Zoo to see the giant pandas.
*side note*  did you know that Norfolk Zoo has a red panda, it kind of looks like a fox and a bear combined.  Well it escaped, but they got it back.  Norfolk Zoo sucks.

After the zoo, we plan on looking for a dress Holly can wear to John's wedding.  I still need to get measured for a tux.  Plus i also wonder who his best man will be.
On the way home we are going to stop at Tysons Corner to look at things.

Bye I have to get back to work.

Yesterday, I moved the majority of my things into the Longwood house.  That was also my first night sleeping there.  It was a very strange night sleeping there, and knowing that it was where I would be sleeping for a long time.  I should finish moving in today, when I bring a few more clothes and the boys Dunkin and Occy over.  I think my room is really neat.  The biggest problem is that they only have two pronged outlets! which means I'm f***ed if the house gets struck.

[mood | nervous]

Well I did it.  I plotted and planned for the past week to convince my parents into letting move into the Longwood house.  I provided them with an information packet, including a FAQ sheet.  The presentation went pretty well, and I gave them some time alone to decide.  After about ten minutes we went outside to talk.  Long story short, I am allowed to move in!  Here are the terms of the agreement thought:  I pay for everything this summer.  During the semester they will give me $300 a month to help pay rent, I pay the rest which is sweet.  All I have to do is stay above a 3.0 GPA and can't get more than one C.  I feel like this is gonna be no sweat.  The other catch is that I have to pay for my own gas now!  This might not be too bad because my work reimburses me for my milage.

After work tonight, Holly and I are driving to Busch Gardens to ride the Griffon again.  It should be a great date.

Saturday we are going to Sandbridge to hang at the beach with Chelsea and Justin.  Hopefully there will be a few waves.

Sunday, the guys plan on going to North Carolina to surf, but I don't know if the waves will even happy.

Love you bye

WEEEEEE [Jun. 18th, 2007|10:04 am]
Yesterday, Holly and I went to Busch Gardens.  We screwed around with the older rides and had a good time, but eventually we got down to business and got in line for the Griffon.  They have this lame rule there now, where you can't have a purse in lines, so you have to pay a dollar to put your purse in a locker.  Luckily I am a boy with a wallet, but that rule was still lame, because Holly had to pay $2 just to wait in line yesterday.  anyway, we waited not too long and got to ride in the front of the griffon!  It was so scarry when it just stopped and hung you over the edge, and the drop made me smile so hard that my cheeks started to hurt and if felt like my brain was going to come out of my ears, after that blur, it was over.  So we decided to ride it again after dinner of course.  The second time the ride made more sense and was really fun.  The best part was the pictures it takes; our faces were so weak, especially holly's.  I always get my hair blown back and it just shows my huge white forehead.

Just a few more days and I get payed, then I can move into the Longwood house.  I think I'll go over there after work and start to arrange my room.  That is if I don't go surfing.  The waves have been very nice to us recently.

peace

Well the real-estate businasty has been good to me.  I have a pretty chill job, where I get to poke around on Facebook, and play solitare between appointments.  I am also making good money, which means that I can move into the Longwood house imminently.  Great news even, Doug decided to move to the third floor, so now I can live on the same floor as all my friends.  I will kind of feel like an ay hole being the only one in the house, not sharing a room.  Maybe Austin can move in with me when he gets home.

I tell you what, working full time does stink a little, because now I can only go to the beach on Saturdays and Sundays only, and the waves seem to like Thursdays the most.  So I've been missing out on surfing.

For my lunch breaks I go home, make a sandwich, and watch "How it's Made".  This is a very nice way to spend a lunch break btw.  That is unless Holly drives up to eat with me.

Ok well I'll see if I can do some real work now, I probably just made $2 in the time it took me to write this, so eat dust.

Peace

I'm back from Peru, there is too much crazy stuff to write about on here.  I've been home for abot 4 days, and I still haven't posted the pictures of the trip yet.  My arms are really ichy from the bug bites in Bella Vista.
I plan on moving into the Longwood house in a matter of days or weeks.  Should be exciting!

Does anyone use LJ anymore?

Well I'm not too sure why I am still posting on this.  I have had it for a long time though.  Here's some news on me anyway.
The semester is almost over, which makes me almost a Junior in college!
I got a fantastic new job showing rental apartments for Cooke & Neff Real Estate.  I get my own office with a nice desk and fancy telephone, business cards, a $100 organizer, possibly a work cell phone, and the pay me back for gas.  I plan on working a lot this summer.
I just purchased my plane ticket for Peru today.  I leave on May 24th.  It should be a real adventure.
I have also finished some songs, which I am very happy and comfortable with.  So as soon as I can afford a recording microphone, I will record a good CD, and start to play some shows hopefully!
Everyone in my family is doing well, Especially John, who's wedding is only a few months away now.  I only with that I could spend more time with Katherin to get to know her better.  I mean she is going to be my sister soon.

Here's something I was thinking about last night:
First there were the California deadly earth quacks, then the Oaklahoma City bombing, then there was the columbine shooting, then 9-11, then the sniper killing people in Maryland and Virginia, then the tsunami and katrina, and now this kid @ Tech.  These are just some of the huge events which happened in my lifetime.  Did you forget about any of those?  The news has a field day with such events, because it gets viewers and boosts ratings.  Interviews with family members of victims, who would probably just like to be left alone to morn, and viewers not seeming to be surprised anymore.  We are not so naive to threats in America anymore, but people are getting callused to them.  What is coming next and is the media just itching for its chance to cover it?

Hello LJ world.  I have a lot of news, but I'll keep it short.
I have been spending too much money lately, come to mention that I finally quit Coldstone.  I got Debbie a nice surfboard for her birthday and myself a nice snowboard for next season.
More good news:  I had a really good interview today and am going to be a rental assistant for Cooke & Neff real estate business.  So basically I would just be showing people appartments.  The scarry part is that it is like a real life job, where I will have to be organized and have a notebook, planner, milage log, and note pad.  I can't believe that I am going to be a real person.  I just have to see how much it pays now.
Holly and I went for a run today, and it was the first time I had run in ages, and my whole being hurts.

Things to look forward to:
Surfing with Mouse and Ben, who is back in town.
Mouse's 20th birthday March 28th
Pike Fomal April 7th
Debbie's 10th birthday April 9th
David's 17th birthday April 27th  <----- Holy CRAP!
Making Cash Money at my new job
The weather getting even nicer

I hate my job.  $9/hour is not worht being shat on.  I finished my resume and am going to apply to Red Bull in a few days.  Oh how I look foreward to puting in my 2 weeks notice.

Sunday is going to be busy.  I have church, Pike Roadside cleanup, study for accounting test, Pike Meeting, and another Pike event late that night.  Definightly not going to the party afterward, but definightly getting a Red Bull and studying some more.

I have to get out of this office, or I'm gonna flip.  Holly came in and visited, so that kept me somewhat sane.

This second semester Sophmore year has not been so hard.
Tonight Pike's intramural basketball team did not win in the championship game.  I only got 2 points.  Mouse's team got to the B league championship and lost as well.
It's nice to know that not everyone out there is a piece of S**T.  I got a facebook message from someone who works at the TED saying that they had my wallet there.  NICE! and I was just there earier this evening.  I've already canceled most of the stuff in it, but it will be nice to have a liscense again.  I also wonder what's still in it.

In other news it's settled.  Holly, Chelsae, Justin and I are going snowboarding in Snowshoe this spring break so that's going to be fun, and I've commited to going on a missions trip to Peru this summer.
It's a lot to look foreward to.
and I still love Holly by the way

So Christmas break is over and I miss it already.  It seems like I'll be doing a lot more work this semester, so I don't know what this will be like.  The good news is that I'm finally done pledging Pi Kappa Alpha, so I'll have more time to study real school work.  I'm so happy that initiation is on Saturday and can't wait to get my letters.  It was so much hard work, but in the end it was really worth it; I just love the way that Pike does stuff.  Of course it's all a secret, but I was gone for a while and now I'm back again.  My pledge brothers and I are so ridiculously close, and It will be nice to get to know the older brothers better now.  The bad news about this semester is that Holly has a sweet job now.  So between the two of us working and going to class, we will only be able to see eachother 2 or 3 times a week.  That made me pretty bumed out today.  But I definightly will be keeping real busy.  Friday will be our date night, so I will always have that to look foreward to.  I love holly.  I hope everyone else gets back into the swing of things alright too.  peace.

Last night after work, I came home and played around with iTunes, which I still love, and I used my iTunes gift card to buy music, and got a lot of songs.  I don't know why but it was really fun, and I ended staying up until 2:45am.  I don't know why.  Church was really sweet and later I will go to Holly's house for some of her holliday baking... I can't wait.  I'm so excited about tomorrow.
It's hard for me to remember that Jesus is the reason for the celebrating though, because that was the best gift I've ever gotten.

I should be working, but I'm in the office doing this. [Dec. 23rd, 2006|10:58 pm]

I've been having a really enjoyable break, I hope everyone else is as well.  I've been working a little, playing a lot of basketball and playing with Holly.  It's nice being done with all my christmas shopping too.
A big disappointment for me was that I had put a lizard on hold at the store for a new pet.  When I went in to visit the little guy (who I decided to name Occy)  I asked to see him and they said that they sold him that day.  "WHAT!?", I exclaimed,  "You said that you would hold it for a week.
"Well you didn't seem that sure about it", the fat bitch replied.
"That's BULL," I said in discust.
So I'm not going there ever again, because the lady continued to be rude and ignorant.
So she can eat dust.
Maybe I can get a different Occy later on it this break.

I would like to hang out with my friends soon

Merry Christmas to everyone
and Happy Hanuka, Ben

I'm 20 years old as of yesterday [Dec. 10th, 2006|06:40 pm]

Yes it's true I am no longer a teenager and it is wonderful.  These past couple days have been a blast.  Friday I aced my Marketing exam, and got an A on the last Microecon test.  After all the school crap, I cleaned out my car, packed my bags, and picked up mouse and Holly for our JMU trip.  The drive was ridiculously long, but we made it alright.  I got to see Melissa's house, ben, carter, joanna, and others were there as well.  We had a lot of fun and all slept in the same room (I brought an infladable matress with a sleeping bag, because I did not want to have a sore back for my birthday).

Saturday, we just drove back and made good time.  Holly gave me her presents which were nice PJ pants, comfortable slipper/moccasin type shoes, and a really sweet card that she made herself.  After unwinding from the long car ride, we parted ways.  I was greeted by everyone in my house and Had a small mountain of presents waiting for me.  I got a really nice printer, $15 i-tunes girft card, the rest of the money to pay for my gym membership, plenty of cash from the grandparents, and brownies.
After playing with all my new things, Holly picked me up to take me to dinner.  We had No Frill Grill and ate way to much and talked for hours.  It's so nice to be that comfortable with her.  After dinner, we saw that movie "The last Holliday"  I guess I'd have to give it 2 out of 5 stars.  The movie was followed by expensive deserts, which we probably would have been better off, not eating.  And holly sang happy birthday to me.  It was such a fun date, and I thanked her a lot for it.

I went home, set my alarm for church, and watched a little dave chapelle stand up before going to sleep.  It was a good day.

I got a lot of birthday kisses, and most were from Ben and Mouse.  It was nice seeing everyone again.

[music |The Anniversary - Without Panasos]

This past week held a lot of events for me: some were getting some good grades back, schedualing for classes, longboard downhill slolem, dates, Interviews with brothers.  You know lots of stuff. Pledging is finally approaching the end.  I'm ready for Christmas break.  I have most of my shopping done for my family already.  Here's something else:  I turn 20 in 8 days.  How crazy is that. I'm gonna try and have a cookout with my pledge brothers.  I have that buzz that I get in December, today probably because I watched an ODU basketball game, then came home to find a new Christmas tree in my living room.  This should be a good month.  I hope all of my friends are doing well. peace

This has been my favorite Thanksgiving yet.  My brother's wife to be and her mom came to cook for us, and my gparents came as well.  The only bad part was that my dad got called in to do surgery right before we ate.  That really stinks for him.  buy I mean, it meant that someone had a special thanksgiving because they got a surgery to save their life.
Food was delicious, my brothers and I lifted wieghts and threw a football for a bit.  After my house I headed over to Holly's to kick it with her family.  we had some pie, sat in the hot tub, and watched ELF.  I got so full but it was a good full.  When I got home I talked to my family for a bit, and john, who was about to camp out in front of Best Buy for the Black Friday sale.

Today, my schedual is completely free, so I'm surfing with Josh, Mouse, and Ben... you know, my crew.
